Inshore Skipper (Shorebased)
National Yacht & Powerboat Cruising Scheme (TL 4 & 5)
The Inshore Skipper theory course will now be offered in three parts –Navigation, Meteorology and Nautical Knowledge & Seamanship.
The theory component of this course is the same for both Yacht and Power Cruising Schemes. The practical sessions will differ.
COURSE A - NAVIGATION

· Dangerous weather events. Cyclones, Winter gales, etc
· Weather based Passage planning

COURSE C -- NAUTICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SEAMANSHIP
