Probationary Requirements and your Activity Log
New Probationary members are required to participate in a range of Club activities, accruing a minimum of 20 points within 12 months of joining. Should you complete your Probationary requirements before then, so much the better, but the minimum period is six months.
Accumulate 20 points over the twelve months and progress to Senior Membership.
In order to qualify, you must satisfy the following requirements:
Attendance at one Club General Meeting is compulsory - accrue three points.
Accrue 20 points within 12 months.
A Club activity is any event or meeting organised by any section of the Club or by the Club itself.
A water based event would be any race, including JAM and Twilight, any organised Cruise or Power Yacht event, any Angling, Game Fishing or Dive section outing or on water clinic, or any duty on a start boat.
A Club Training course can be included as a Club activity. Training counts towards one credit (any number of courses will only ever equal one credit). This excludes the Recreational Skippers Ticket (RST) training course.
Upon receipt of the completed Activity Log Book, it will be verified and, if all requirements are met, your membership will be upgraded to Senior Membership status.
If you have misplaced your Activity Log Book, please contact the Membership Coordinator . It is up to the Probationary Member to go to the Section Captains to have their Log resigned. Reception staff cannot assume participation and are not eligble to sign in recognition of participation.
