The Dive Section regularly gets together for social activities. Many are members of other Club Sections, who all have a common interest in Scuba Diving.
We run a full year of events to suit a wide range of interests in underwater activities.

We invite you to attend our monthly meetings which are normally held upstairs in the “The Bridge” on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm. Everyone is able to have input in a relaxed atmosphere. Whenever possible we have a guest speaker to give a presentation on a related subject. The meetings generally finish around 9:00pm and are then followed by light snacks and a social drink.
The monthly dive is usually scheduled for the Sunday following the meeting on the Club’s vessel “Success”. These trips are free to FSC members. The monthly dives are usually conducted locally, utilising the many popular sites Rottnest and Perth waters have to offer.
The Dive Section also conducts the twice annual survey and replacement programme of “anodes” which are attached to most of the FSC jetties, in order to protect the jetties from erosion. There is also an Annual FSC Harbour floor clean-up.
The dive day is a relaxed and pleasant way to meet members and enjoy diving in a social and supportive atmosphere. As there is a limit on how many people Success is allowed to take on board, it is advisable to register at the meeting or by email to the Captain: Peter McMahon
Trips away, either within Australia or overseas, are organised on a regular basis depending on numbers who are interested.
