Fremantle Sailing Club is changing the lives of young people and we need your help to maintain our momentum of success.
What a truly extraordinary season of success we’ve had this summer sailing season. Under the leadership our FSC Academy Principal Arthur ‘AB’ Brett and his team of committed volunteers we are providing the highest standard of sailing experience to the youth of greater Fremantle. Appling skills honed with the Australian Olympic Sailing Team, AB and his team have completed a truly amazing season of success, unprecedented by any yacht club in Australia:
- Massively increased the number of young people exposed to the life adventure of sailing
- Five national champions
- A world women’s youth champion
- Winners of the 2010 WA youth match racing championships
- Host organisation to the Perth 2011 Emerging Nations Programme
To provide for the rapid growth in sailing based youth development at FSC we must purchase 10 additional training level plastic Optimists before the start of the new season in October. You can assist by making a tax-deductible donation to the Australian Sports Foundation in support of the FSC Youth Development Project.
So please help your Club get more kids into sailing and change their lives.
