The objectives and functions of the Game Fishing Committee shall be to:

• Encourage members to participate in the activities of the Game Fishing Section.
  
  
• Promote improved skills in all aspects of Game Fishing.
  
  
• Oversee the implementation of appropriate safety standards.
  
  
• Prepare a budget of income and expenditure, including the number and value of trophies, for submission through the Finance Committee to the Board of Management for approval.
  
• Prepare a programme of events for approval by the Board of Management.
  
  
• Arrange for the recording of competition results and the suitable recording of record catches.
  
  
• Appoint delegates to those game fishing organisations with which the Club is affiliated.
  
  
• Encourage Club representation in interclub, interstate or international events that have been endorsed by the Board of Management.
