INSHORE WINTER SERIES 2008
Enter now for the 2008 Inshore Winter Series. This event is open to visitors from other yacht Clubs. Visitors can apply for a water pen at FSC for the 3 months of the series (24 May to 30 August). Priority is given to visitors taking part in both the Inshore Winter Racing and the Offshore Valmadre Winter Series.
Races will be held on Saturday afternoons on 24 May, 21 June, 5 July, 19 July, 2 August, 16 August and 30 August. A presentation luncheon will be held on Sunday 14 September.

INVITATION FOR FSC MEMBERS TO TAKE UP HARDSTANDING OVER THE WINTER MONTHS
In order to accommodate our visitors over the Winter Series, FSC Members not planning on sailing are invited to offer their pens in return for hardstanding space.

The objectives and functions of the Inshore Racing Committee are:
- To encourage members to participate in the activities of the Inshore Racing Section.
- To promote improved skills in all aspects of Inshore yacht racing.
- To ensure the orderly and efficient conduct of all Inshore yacht racing events.
- To oversee the implementation of appropriate safety standards.
- Prepare a programme of events, sailing instructions and courses for consideration by Sailing Committee.
- Prepare a budget of income and expenditure, including the number and value of trophies, for consideration by Sailing Committee.
- Encourage the strongest possible Club representation in any interclub, interstate or international events or regattas that have been endorsed by Sailing Committee.
- Conduct annual Summer and Winter consistency Championship series for each division and class.
