The objectives and functions of the Power Yacht Committee shall be to:

• Encourage members to participate in the activities of the Power Yacht Section.
  
  
• Promote improved skills in all aspects of power yachting.
  
  
• Ensure the orderly and efficient conduct of all power yacht events.
  
  
• Prepare a programme of events, sailing instructions for power yachts and courses for approval by the Board of Management.
  
  
• Prepare a budget of income and expenditure, including the number and value of trophies, for submission through the Finance Committee to the Board of Management for approval.
  
  
• Appoint delegates to those power yachting organisations with which the Club is affiliated.
  
  
• Encourage Club representation in interclub, interstate or international events that have been endorsed by the Board of Management.
