It is now more than 35 years since Club Marine Ltd was established to provide a unique insurance product, specialising in pleasure craft.

Club Marine is unique. When you arrange insurance for your boat with Club Marine you are not just a number on a policy - you become a member of a club and you receive an individual card that entitles you to a whole range of exclusive services and benefits.

This is all part of joining the Club - but the most important thing is that you can enjoy your boating knowing that you and your family are well protected and that your insurance plan has been designed by boating people for boating people. Club Marine has grown over the years to where it is now the largest pleasure and commercial leisure craft underwriting agency in Australia.

For added peace of mind, it is reassuring to know that Club Marine Boat Insurance is underwritten by one of Australia's largest insurers, Allianz Australia Insurance Limited, one of the country’s largest insurance providers.

Fremantle and the Inner Harbour are among the oldest institutions in Western Australia. For more than 100 years, the working port has played a leading role in shaping the physical, commercial and social environment of Fremantle.

Fremantle's role as a port began with the foundation of the Swan River Colony in 1829. The port city was named after Captain Charles H. Fremantle who arrived in the HMS Challenger and took possession of this part of the continent in the name of His Majesty King George IV at Arthur Head on 2 May 1829. Captain James Stirling arrived with 68 settlers in the Parmelia on 2 June 1829, and established the settlement on the Swan River, and the Port of Fremantle was created.

Thanks to vision and careful planning Fremantle is today Western Australia's major general cargo port.

Established as a Fremantle Company in 1922 and operating from the same site for 75 years, they are the longest serving Holden Dealer in WA.

It is a family company owned and operated by Tony Carter and Doug Kerr - both keen sailors.

Tony has been a previous winner of the Harbour Race and is onboard his yacht “Prim8’s” with his son Trent hoping for another win today.

For a good deal on a new car visit their showroom on Queen Victoria Street.
