Western Australia is set to host the biggest sailing event since the 1987 America's Cup and you can be a part of it!
The Event will run from 3 December 2011 - 18 December 2011 and Perth 2011 will be looking to recruit thousands of volunteers from WA, Australia and around the world!
So with the Perth 2011 ISAF World Sailing Championships now only seven weeks away, there are plenty of volunteer places to be filled – especially in roles such as Transport, Meet and Greet, plus Boat Parks.
Transport
You will need to have an Australian driving licence. It involves driving one of our loaned Holden cars for the VIPs and officials or driving one of our mini buses around a pre-determined route (for this you would need a specific licence).
Meet and Greet
Covering a wide area from Perth right through the whole event.
Boat Parks
Four boat parks are operating during the event. You would be looking after the athletes and their equipment and ensuring that only accredited personnel are allowed access.
