Success Cup Presentation

The presentation of trophies for the Success Cup Series was held at the club in April. Some 46 boats participated in the series which includes the George Law race, Gordon Haselhurst race, Hugel Passage race, Bunbury City classic, Halls Head and Point Robert Return races.

Rear commodore sail Bill Burbige was present as well as Matt Duff who was the MC. Once again he didn’t fail as being entertaining to us all.

Our guest speaker was Max Shean. At 88 years old, he shows no sign of slowing down and shared with us some of his memories when he joined the Royal Australian navy in 1940. He has been a member of FSC for 28 years. During that time, he held different board and committee positions, was vice-commodore and chairmain of the cruising for eight years.
