‘A PLASTIC OCEAN’… special screening at FSC

Thursday, 20 July 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for this special screening of “A PLASTIC OCEAN”, an award-winning film about the impact of plastic on our oceans.

Hosted by Sea Shepherd Perth and Fremantle Sailing Club, this film is described by Sir David Attenborough as “one of the most important films of our time”.

A PLASTIC OCEAN shows the crisis facing our ocean from our disposable lifestyle. An international team of adventurers, researchers, and Ocean ambassadors go on a mission around the globe to uncover the shocking truth about what is truly lurking beneath the surface of our seemingly pristine Ocean. It shows never-before-seen images of marine life, plastic pollution, and its ultimate consequences for human health.

Watch the trailer HERE.

This thought-provoking film will be introduced by Sea Shepherd’s Marine Debris Campaign Coordinator Liza Dicks.

There will be a Q&A following the screening for any questions that may arise from this eye-opening film.

There will be merchandise available for purchase on the night.

Admission: FREE (bookings not required)

Date: Thurs, July 20th, 2017
Venue: Ward Room (upstairs), Fremantle sailing Club – 151 Marine Terrace Fremantle, WA.
