The course is delivered face to face in a combination of practical and theoretical activities, exercises and assessments.
It provides the participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently manage emergency situations, providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives. The course also includes CPR training, to ensure students have exposure to vital skills.
Pre-work is required prior to attending the face-to-face component of First Aid Course. You will be required to successfully complete the online material and corresponding online quizzes, then show staff members when arriving your certificate of completion, which can be downloaded and printed or saved to a mobile device.
The course is 8 hours in duration. It will be run over two evenings or one full day on the below dates at a very special rate of $132.75 per person.
Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th February: 5pm – 9pm
Sunday 23rd February: 9am – 5pm
Payment is required prior and you must obtain a Unique Student Identification Number in order to obtain your certificate of competence.
