Fremantle Sailing Club welcomes anyone in the community to join a learn to sail program and give the sport of sailing a try to see if it is something you enjoy and want to pursue.

There are learn to sail pathways to suit your age, skill level and competitiveness. You do not need to have any sailing experience to start and as you progress the Club will work with you to choose the area of sailing that most interests you, for example dinghy racing, twilight sailing or offshore racing.

The Club offers sailing programs for primary and secondary schools and groups in the community.

The learn to sail pathways begins with a Discover Sailing Experience or Try Sail program, progressing to consistent training sessions and club racing throughout Summer and Winter. The learn to sail pathway options are detailed below, click on the area you are interested in for more information.
