COVID-19 UPDATE (26/03): IMPORTANT MEMBER NOTICES – HOUSE SUPPORT, LINE OF CREDIT EXTENSIONS & CLUB MOORINGS

HOUSE SUPPORT &  LINE OF CREDIT EXTENSIONS

Whilst we are facing very difficult economic times, we feel it is in the best interests of our members to no longer extend an account credit that some may ultimately find difficult to repay. This is being implemented across the board, rather than single out certain people.

Your FOB will still operate for house support, or any “topped up” funds you have added to your account. Once the balance on your FOB has reached a nil balance or if you don’t have your FOB with you, we are still operating on the basis of cash, EFTPOS or tap & go on your phone.

The recently introduced F&B discount will also still be applied on the presentation of your FOB key and don’t forget your Part 1 House Support is now extended to December 2020.

We trust you will all understand and appreciate the cashflow difficulties the club may face should unpaid credits escalate.

CLUB MOORINGS

We have had many calls in the last week in regard to the access to Club moorings, and particularly since the closure of Rottnest Island. We understand many members are looking to still have the enjoyment of a night away, but we also have members who are in mandatory self-isolation, who now have to leave Rotto and return to moorings as they cannot come into the marina for obvious reasons.

In order to assist with this, we are giving a priority to them to help in a time of need. If you have made a booking, please call the office URGENTLY on 94358800 so that we can re-allocate a booking time for you. Once again, we thank you all for your understanding.
