NEW WAPOL eWATCH PROGRAM

Recently the Western Australian Police Force have initiated a new program to let you know current crime trends for your area as well as ways to prevent crimes from occurring to you, your family and home.

The Program is called “eWatch” and it’s a simple process of signing up online and your Local Police team will then email you the relevant information as it comes through.

We recognised that not everyone has Social media these days and this initiative was devised for those without it.

The FSC will have been advised of this also and as a result, signed up to gain information on the area of Fremantle’s crime trends. These will be forwarded onto the members if it relates to the Yacht club and the Yacht club deems it to be necessary.

You can also use the program for yourself and receive crime trends for the area that you live in.

To access this useful resource what you need to do is:

  1. Go to https://www.ewatch.com.au/
  2. Register by Clicking “Join” at the top of the screen.
  3. Fill in your details on the form

Once this is done, you should be able to select an area that you live in and from then on can either go online to see what the current crime trends are and other information, or just simply receive the updates via email from your Local Policing team.

If you have any questions on the matter, as per usual, don’t hesitate to contact me by phone or email.
