The 2017/2018 Inshore Summer Series wrapped up last Saturday with the traditional Lady Skippers race, followed by the Inshore Presentation Dinner. Light airs and sunshine brought out a strong fleet of twenty-one boats, with mix of regular skippers, novices drawn from friends and family, regular crew, and ring-ins. The start was delayed and the fleet motorsailed after Success for some time as Race Control searched for a location with enough breeze to start the race.

BIG BEACH CLEAN UP – NEW DATE SATURDAY 19 MAY
The clean-up is organised by FSC in conjunction with Jervoise Bay Sailing Club. All inshore sailors are encouraged to participate in the fabulous and worthwhile event.
A strong fleet of twenty-one boats took to the water last Saturday for the final points race of the FSC Inshore section’s summer Championship and Consistency series. A light northerly wind saw Race Control set course 12 with the first leg inshore to B mark.
Offshore Presentation Dinner is very exciting this year as we have secured Peter Bell (ABC 720 Presenter, dual Premiership player, former Dockers Captain and AFL Hall of Fame member) as MC of the Offshore Dinner, With Sydney to Hobart winner Matt Allen as Guest Speaker.
A small but keen fleet of thirteen boats raced in light conditions off Fremantle last Saturday in the penultimate race of the inshore summer season. The race started in a light South South Easterly breeze and the start crew chose light air course thirteen starting at Y.
