THIS Friday 20 April: The 55th Cape Naturalist and Return Race: 245nm…is looking like a rather fast and wet race for many this weekend. It is often hailed as one of our finest races in WA, a Cat 3 race plus PLB’s. The organising authority is Royal Perth Yacht Club, and the race is part of the Blue Water Series and Siska Trophy.
Twenty FSC boats raced last Saturday in the Max Shean Trophy. The race commemorates the life of the late Max Shean, and Max’s boat Bluebell (sailed by Peter Nevard) was an honoured guest competitor.
