As a yacht owner, a skipper or as a crew person, we invite you to consider entering this iconic ‘Blue Water’ event. At 1440 nautical miles, it is the longest yacht race in Australia.

In the words of Ludde Ingvall, owner of “Nicorette”/”Supersled”, winner and record holder in 2013

“This race has it all. With 1400 miles of sailing and variations of weather normally being a serious enough challenge for the yacht racer but in addition, for this event, there are really three races in one. The start in Fremantle and the coastal race to Nor West Cape, then the 700nm open ocean race to Bali and finally the very challenging light winds and strong tides that test even the best sailors as the boats approach the finish off Benoa. When you finish this race you can really claim the accolades due an ocean racing crew”

Cost to register your boat is $600.

All Skippers and Crew members will pay $150 per head.

These fees will cover cost of Yellow Brick Trackers and Kordia HF Radio communications 24/7 during the event.

For all other information please see the NOR.

Race yachts will be safety checked, and must be compliant with the provisions of Category One, Yachting Australia ‘Blue Book’. Rally yachts will also be safety checked and must comply with the FSC ‘Green Book’:“Cruising Recommendations”. Our team of friendly, helpful and experienced yacht safety inspectors are available to assist you.

All Race yachts must be fitted with an HF radio; all Rally yachts must have either an HF radio, or the ability to receive and send emails throughout the journey. Due to the changes in Indonesian CAIT requirements it is now compulsory for Rally Yachts to carry AIS set up to send and receive.

They are providing some excellent room rates with an additional extra 10% discount if booked prior to end of March.

I have just recently been up and visited the Hotel, Great place for Family to visit and meet you once your boat arrives.

As we will also be holding our Presentation here, its central location would be convenient to all.

The newly renovated “Club Rooms” come with fantastic additional benefits, well worth spoiling yourself for a few extra days after your epic journey to get to Bali!

Please support the hotel by suggesting to as many crew members and family as you can.
